International Study Experience
St Margaret’s offers individual overseas students the opportunity to study at St Margaret’s for six weeks to one year. Within this program, students will be fully immersed in the St Margaret’s school culture by participating in the appropriate year level subjects, and having access to all available extra-curricular activities including sports, music and cultural groups. St Margaret’s offers either boarding or homestay accommodation for study experience students.
The boarding house is centrally located within the school campus and is home to approximately 185 students who are from urban and coastal areas of South-east Queensland, rural communities in Queensland and New South Wales, other Australian states and territories, and a wide variety of overseas locations.
Our homestay accommodation is organised through the outside provider International Student Care Australia (ISCA). Like boarding, a homestay environment can assist International students improve English language skills, and they can also experience living in a family situation and immersing themselves in the Australian culture and way of life.
