Section Menu

Badminton is one of St Margaret's carnival sports. One team in each division can be entered, in each year group from Years 7 to 10, while students in Years 11 and 12 participate in Senior and Open teams. Each team consists of four to eight players.
 
Training
Training commences in Term 3, with two sessions per a week in consultation with the Coordinator.
 
Training Venue
Philip Harris Gym.
 
Competition
The QGSSSA badminton competition is held in October, over two Saturdays.
The competition venues are Ipswich Girls' Grammar School, Centenary State High School and Brisbane State High School.
 
Uniform
The school navy physical education uniform is suitable for both training. The navy physical education shorts and white representative shirt are to be worn on competition days.
